HTC One A9

Sleek Design and Good Performance

The HTC One A9 is an exceptionally slender and beautiful phone. Made out of aircraft-grade aluminium, it has sleek rounded edges and an extra flat body. Rounded sides with a panel of Gorilla Glass 4 make this device very comfortable to hold and sturdy, while the 5" Full HD AMOLED display offers a bright and vivid picture and is easy to operate with one hand. The screen is perfect for both playing games and watching HD movies; it produces rich colours and amazing contrast. Unusually for HTC, the A9 has no iconic Boomsound speakers on the front. Instead of them, there is a Dolby Audio™ with Hi-Res Audio support. The model is also completed with this year's must-have feature - a recessed fingerprint scanner.

The front-facing UltraPixel shooter has a 4-megapixel resolution for fantastic selfies, while the rear camera boasts 13 megapixels. Thanks to the optical image stabilisation (OIS), it captures crisp photos and videos even in low light. The device has 32GB of storage with 3GB RAM and features the 8-core Snapdragon 617 processor that runs pretty smoothly.

The desire to achieve "super-slim" look has led to some things missing, and the biggest loss of the phone is its low-capacity battery (it's gone from 2850mAh to 2150mAh). However, the device supports Qualcomm's QuickCharge 2.0 standard, so you can always count on super-speedy battery charging. 10 minutes of re-juicing and you can listen to your favourite music tracks for seven hours non-stop!

HTC Desire 10 Pro

More Friends in Your Shots

The HTC Desire 10 Pro is a classy-looking smartphone. It has a metal frame with attractive gold accents running along the camera bump, edges, and back. The body is produced from soft-touch polycarbonate that feels great to the touch and offers excellent grip. There's also a fingerprint reader below the camera sensor on the back, which works incredibly fast and can double act as a button for making selfies.

The Desire 10 Pro has a 5.5" 1080p display with vibrant colours and good levels of brightness and contrast. Yet, the hallmark of this model is its 20-megapixel main camera with laser autofocus. Photos captured with the shooter exhibit good detail and bright colours. The rear camera comes in at 13 megapixels and boasts 150° selfie panorama mode, therefore, you can get even more friends on your photos. Both front and rear cameras support full-HD video recording and Auto HDR mode.

The HTC Desire 10 Pro is a well-rounded device powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. Owing to these core specs, the phone gets the job done really well! It doesn't overheat nor lags.

HTC Desire 828

The Best Price/Quality Ratio

Meet another best-seller from HTC, the Desire 828. It has a soft-touch back and a golden brown bezel. Like most HTC phones, the Desire 828 sounds brilliant. It features two BoomSound speakers paired with Dolby Audio™ Surround for an immersive sound experience. Furthermore, the large 5.5" FullHD display produces rich colours and outstanding contrast for incredibly detailed video playback.

The main 13MP camera features the most advanced Optical Image Stabilisation. Now you can forget about blurred shots! Of course, 13MP isn't enough for pro photos but combined with OIS feature, a rear camera is a decent option for day to day snapping. As for the front camera, it uses the iconic sensor of the HTC brand - UltraPixel, thus, any selfies or group shots will be incredibly sharp.

The phone has an 8-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with a frequency of up to 1.5 GHz. Backed up by 2GB RAM, it easily handles all basic tasks like shooting videos or gaming. If 16GB of internal storage isn't enough for storing all your files, apps, and photos, you can expand the memory by inserting a micro SD card (up to 2 TB) into the special slot. So, take your time and catch up on stunning selfies!

HTC Desire 628

For Yongsters

The Desire 628 is a budget-friendly phone of HTC’s Desire family. The model is made of durable polycarbonate plastic and has a soft-touch surface which offers a good amount of grip. The smartphone stands out from others with its bright stripes running along the edges and circle the rear camera. Owing to the flashy design, this phone is pretty popular among young users.

The phone boasts patented "loud and proud" BoomSound speakers on the front. The speakers throw out a really impressive amount of sound, and their max volume level can beat even the iPhone 5S or Galaxy S4. The handset has Super LCD display that has no air gap between the outer glass and the display element like standard LCD screens. Thus, the picture on the display is brighter and has no blurs.

The main camera has a 13-megapixel sensor with the f/2.0 aperture, meaning it can snap good low-light shots. Plus, the phone has a special app that can automatically sharpen such pictures and send them to your friends. As for the front shooter, it has 5MP lens enough for occasional snapping.

Owing 8-core processor MT6753 with 3 GB RAM, the Desire 628 easily manages most of the tasks so necessary for youngsters. Create fantastic photos and videos, access social networks and the Internet from anywhere and at any time with the HTC Desire 628!

HTC Desire 616

Affordable Option

The Desire 616 is a mid-range device that comes at a very attractive price. The phone is beautiful in its simplicity. It's not stuffed with all those bells and whistles like more pricey models, yet it does claim a solid performance. It's produced from glossy plastic and has rounded corners that won't dig into your palm. Unusually for HTC phones, this one has a removable rear shell, so you'll be able to replace the battery by yourself if needed.

The 5" IPS display has a 1280x720-pixel resolution and wide viewing angles. The handset is fitted with 8 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras. By and large, such cameras are a bit outdated, however, they are still OK for making video calls on Skype.

Powered by MediaTek Octa-core MT6592 with 1 GB RAM, the device can run several apps without lagging. The onboard storage is enough for about 1,400 pictures or 200 music tracks. However, you can increase it up to 32 GB by inserting a microSD card.
